Habitat for Humanity - Lot 50
Habitat for Humanity came to my college looking for a couple of new designs for their housing projects.  I was given dimensions for the project.  I was required to look up the zoning code and also the building codes for the lot I was to build on.  Because this was an undefined property, I looked for a lot that would be similar to what was needed.  Then I used Xref to insert an aerial photograph of the site.  This gave me a reference point on which to start work on.

The house was required to be ADA compliant.  Starting with the Line and Offset tools I began to make my house.  To make sure my building was within the requirements I put dimensions on it.  This helped me to make adjustments.  I created new layers when needed.  This project has a full set of construction documents.  The sheets include mechanical, plumbing, electrical--with handmade blocks, mechanical, kitchen cabinets and roof layout.

Note:  The image was made using Autodesk Revit.  Please excuse the roof, it is different from the construction documents.
